About the role
This role will provide you the opportunity to lead and implement an integrated asset management approach across council’s civil infrastructure assets.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Provide technical leadership, oversight, and specialist advice across the management of civil infrastructure assetsCoordinate the assessment of and response to external and internal requests for service associated with the management of council’s civil infrastructure assetsLead and coordinate the development and implementation of asset class strategies and tactics to achieve cost-effective preventative and corrective management and maintenance works, condition monitoring and performance management of civil assets throughout their lifecycleDevelop and implement control systems, techniques, work practices, processes, and procedures to help maintain accurate and relevant civil asset data recordsPrepare briefing papers, business cases and presentations relevant to civil infrastructure asset managementManagement and leadership of a team of asset management professionals
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Extensive demonstrated experience in civil infrastructure asset managementRelevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, asset management or construction managementHold a current Queensland C Class driver’s licenceDesirably, you will hold (or have the ability to obtain) registration with the Board of Professional Engineers of QueenslandBelief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership

About the benefits
This is a permanent position with a salary range of $127,358 to $143,707 plus 12.5% superannuation.
