Chandler Macleod are seeking a qualified Fitter to join our Maintenance Team on a short-term contract in Mooroopna . This role involves assisting with the initial factory setup , including installations and trade assistant tasks , before transitioning into ongoing maintenance duties .
What We’re Looking For

• Trade qualification in mechanical fitting, fitter & turner, or similar (must)
  
• White Card (Construction Induction) required
  
• Experience in manufacturing preferred
  
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
  
• Experience with steam and air systems is an advantage
  
• Additional experience in welding, construction, boom lift, or plant operations is beneficial
  

Key Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade new equipment
  
• Perform preventative maintenance and attend to breakdowns
  
• Work closely with the Production Manager and Systems Officer to ensure minimal disruption
  
• Monitor machinery and assist operators with troubleshooting
  
• Provide maintenance support across Production, Logistics, and other departments
