You will maintain defined enterprise service levels by providing high quality technical expertise, support and administration whilst adhering to departmental standards, policies, procedures and ITSM processes
What you'll do
• Provide support and assistance in the clarification and prioritisation of tasks by ensuring assigned priorities are met in accordance with defined enterprise service levels
• Assist management in the decision-making process and continuous improvement by preparing technical reports, specifications, and trend analysis within the unit
• Provide expertise to progress the installation and configuration of hardware, firmware, and software as per departmental frameworks
• Manage ICT assets by ensuring relevant information is recorded accurately
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Demonstrated ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / test / change and configuration management. (SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 4, CHMG Level 4, CFMG Level 3, TEST Level 4)
• Demonstrated knowledge and technical skills in one or more of the following: (SFIA: TECH Level 5)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2022 (OS and Hardware)
• Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) 2402
• Virtualization (VMware vSphere)
• Active Directory /DNS /DHCP / Group Policy
• Microsoft Clustering
• Web Servers Technologies (IIS7, 7.5 and 8.5, Apache)
• Provide level of technical expertise to provide technical direction, standardisation, professional advice, and support of enterprise infrastructure in a large customer focus organisation. (SFIA: ITOP Level 4, TECH Level 5)
