About The Job
Experienced and Hands-on Metal Fabrication Supervisor to lead production team. Responsible for the overseeing of daily operations on the workshop floor, ensuring delivery of high-quality fabricated components and supporting the installation team as required.
About You
Ideal candidates will have proven experience in similar hands-on leadership role as well as strong technical welding skills, be a great communicator and have a keen eye for quality and detail.
Requirements
- Experience in staircase/balustrade building or installation in order to understand design features
- Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding (MIG, TIG, stick)
- Supervisory or team leadership experience in a workshop/factory environment.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, drafting standards, and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and industry standards (e.g. NCC, AS/NZS standards).
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Willingness to occasionally assist on-site during installation projects.
