This is an opportunity to join a high-performing Aviation Team that provides all aviation capabilities across government, including Aerial Firefighting and Land Management. Have an understanding of infrastructure and asset management and delivery of an operating airbase for planes and helicopters.
The Aviation Infrastructure and Support Project Officer is responsible for supporting the coordination of governance, business performance, planning and evaluation of aviation infrastructure and support projects within the Aviation Services Unit.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Understanding of the aviation industry and aerodrome environment.
- Experience in providing guidance and governance advice on projects and programs, preferably in a complex environment.
- Basic appreciation of regulatory and legislative policies related to aviation is advantageous.
- Experience in coordinating and supporting project and government stakeholder forums.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
