About the roleAs the Group Business Operations Manager at Faggs Group Mitre 10, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of this dynamic retail and trade organisation. This full-time position is based across Geelong, Ballarat and Bacchus Marsh VIC, and will see you overseeing the business operations across multiple locations.What you'll be doingProvide strong leadership and direction to the operational teams, ensuring efficiency, productivity and exceptional customer serviceOversee the implementation of business strategies and initiatives to achieve key performance objectivesMonitor and analyse business data to identify opportunities for growth, cost savings and process improvementsCollaborate with the senior management team to develop and execute the company's strategic planEnsure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and internal policiesFoster a positive, engaged and high-performing culture within the organisationRepresent the company at industry events and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
What we're looking forSignificant experience (8+ years) in a senior operational or general management role, ideally within the retail, trade or construction industriesProven track record of driving business growth, improving operational efficiency and delivering exceptional customer serviceExcellent leadership, people management and team-building skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisionsExceptional communication and stakeholder management skillsTertiary qualifications in business, management or a related field
