Asset Maintance Manager

Long term contract position for an experienced asset maintance manager with exp in Civil & Structural Assets Are you a seasoned Civil Assets & Facilities Manager with a passion for delivering impactful projects? We're seeking a skilled professional for a 10-month contract, playing a crucial role in managing and enhancing their community infrastructure. About the Role: You'll be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable asset management systems for a diverse range of assets, including:

• Roads and bridges
• Parks and reserves
• Buildings and public facilities
• Coastal assets (if applicable)

You'll also oversee facility management, ensuring the efficient operation of public amenities, aged housing, and sporting fields. In this role you will be:

• Supporting asset management planning, audits, and system improvements
• Overseeing day-to-day asset management functions, including facilities maintenance
• Managing contracts, risk, and compliance in asset-related activities
• Implementing a new pavement management system

About You:

• Extensive experience in Civil Assets & Facilities Management.
• Strong understanding of asset management principles and relevant legislation.
• Proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within a local council environment highly regarded.
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Asset Management, Facility Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
