Your New Role
As a Classroom Teacher, you’ll inspire young minds, foster a positive learning environment, and develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Selection Criteria - Primary Teacher
Accreditation to teach RE in the Wagga Wagga Diocese (or willingness to obtain) and a commitment to the Catholic Faith.An effective classroom practitioner with a strong knowledge of the K-6 curriculum and contemporary pedagogyEvidence of quality assessment practices and reflective use of data in response to student needsAbility to incorporate research informed behaviour management strategies that promote a positive classroom environment.Proven ability to implement effective strategies and differentiated programs to enhance the wellbeing of a diverse range of learners including students with additional needs.An effective Intervention practitioner and willingness to engage in school and CEDWW professional learning including Reading Intervention.Ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively in a team environment with Parish, parents, staff, students, willingly contributing to the wider community.Adaptable and flexible in work situationsValid NSW WWCC CheckCurrent First Aid qualifications or willingness to obtain
Selection Criteria - Year One Reading Intervention Teacher
Successful recent experience as a classroom teacher in Kindergarten - Year 2 and Literacy Intervention K-2.Experience in the analysis and use of student data to inform teacher practice and increase student learning.Capacity to work collaboratively with the Education Officer - Year One Reading Intervention to select and implement relevant reading content, instruction and assessment methods.Knowledge of the NSW English K-10 Syllabus (Specifically K-2).
