Your Service:

Milpara Early Learning Centre provides an innovative and dynamic learning environment that brings children together and creates a sense of community and belonging. Our service offers a unique nature-based outdoor environment.

Offering Long Day Care, Outside School Hours Care including, Before School, After School and Vacation Care, we understand every family has different needs and, with this in mind, we offer care on a full-time or part-time basis. Occasional care and casual care are available where a vacancy exists.

Your impact:

Our passionate team of educators strive to create a nurturing learning environment for the children in our care whilst ensuring they also have fun. Your excellent communication skills and genuine interest in supporting children to grow and realise their potential will have a lasting impact.
You will also need to ensure compliance and safety requirements are met, fulfil some documentation requirements, and assist with cleaning and food preparation.

About the role:

We are seeking Full Time, Part Time and Casual Diploma Qualified Educators to join our professional team, ideally with availability across Monday – Friday 6.30am – 6.30pm. However we can offer casual flexibility for the right candidate. Please reach out to discuss how we can work together to meet your individual needs.

We are dedicated to providing high-quality early education programs for children in a safe, secure, challenging and nurturing environment that is rich, flexible and encourages learning, curiosity, creativity and exploration. You will work with children in our spectacular indoor and outdoor facilities, supported by a team of experienced managers.

Duties:

  • Develop a highly cooperative relationship with all staff members to ensure a consistently caring and smoothly operating service

  • Model and encourage educators to develop and maintain respectful and equitable relationships with each child

  • Provide leadership and positive support for educators and model appropriate skills for other service staff and students

You must have:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care

  • Current employment class, Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable Persons Registration

  • Regular availability and flexibility to work a range of shifts during our opening hours
