About the Role
As a Senior or Lead Software Engineer, you'll join a collaborative, high-performing engineering team in Adelaide. You’ll contribute to impactful software projects, lead or mentor teams, and work closely with senior stakeholders across product and tech. Reporting into Engineering Leadership, this role will play a key part in both the design and delivery of innovative applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with Data Science and DevOps teams to define model requirements, design APIs, and develop scalable, production-ready AI capabilities integrated into software products.
- Design and implement robust, scalable software components using Java.
- Collaborate with teams using data storage tools such as Postgres and Elastic.
- Mentor junior developers and lead small teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments.
- Contribute to the frontend using frameworks like React.
Skills and Experience
- 10+ years in software engineering and 5+ in ML/AI.
- Strong experience with Java and cloud-native software architecture.
- Proficiency with Postgres, Elastic, and frontend technologies like React.
- Familiarity with deploying and scaling applications in cloud environments.
- Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for NV1 Clearance
