About the role
At Torrens Transit, we're building a dynamic finance team where your contributions are valued, and your expertise is shared. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely end to end payroll and processing of accounts. You'll be trained and supported closely by our wider finance team, sharing their knowledge and expertise in a supportive and diverse team environment.
The position is located at our Morphettville Depot, with flexible work arrangements available. Upon successful completion of training and onboarding, there may be opportunity to be relocated to another depot within the Torrens Transit network convenient to the successful applicant.
What We Need From You:
• Experience undertaking end to end payroll in blue collar environments (operations, workshops) with complex enterprise agreements and assorted work patterns.
• Accounts payable and general administration experience – training provided where needed.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and experience with payroll and accounts administration software.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of relevant industrial legislation (Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards, NES).
