Primary Objective:
The Training Liaison Officer is responsible for coordination of Interpreters in their region and Interpreter recruitment, support, supervision, on-the-job development. The Training Liaison Officer ensures Interpreters consistently perform at a high level and meet client service job requests as they are assigned. The officer facilitates and delivers induction training, workshops and specialist training for new and experienced Aboriginal language interpreters, and training sessions to Aboriginal Interpreter Service client groups within relevant region.
