About The Role
This is a fixed term full time vacancy for 12 months. This role involves working with the Senior Medical Receptionist and provide administrative support to the health centre staff. This position contributes to the efficient functioning of the health centre and operates in an environment of competing priorities and constant adjustment. The position is required to manage diverse tasks including internal and external appointments, supporting clinicians in the continuity of health care to inmates, managing correspondence, administrative support to the Clinical Nurse Manager and general office duties. This position liaises and interacts with health centre staff, external agencies and patients.
The Role Will Require
Excellent communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level computer skills and the ability to learn and utilise prison medical record and Offender Management software. A high level of confidentiality.
