About Us:
safeSPACE is PCYC's early intervention program, aimed at preventing young people from becoming involved in the youth justice system and improving outcomes for those who do. safeSPACE delivers an integrated service offering both universal and targeted programs to best support young people.
PCYC is WA's leading youth organisation working with the WA Police Force and the community to empower children and young people to reach their potential. This all happens from our 16 centres located from Albany in the south to Kununurra in the North-West.
Position Overview:
The Youth Program Coordinator will be leading the development, delivery and evaluation of our youth services programs in Kalgoorlie. This role is responsible for leading the youth services team to deliver an effective program and to provide young people with support and guidance. Reporting to the Kalgoorlie Centre Manager, you will be representing PCYC within the local community and implementing a safe and effective workplace culture.

- Proven leadership & experience – background in youth work, community services, social work, psychology or a related field (Diploma or higher preferred)
- Program development skills – experience designing, delivering, and evaluating youth programs.
- Cultural awareness & engagement – strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Passionate & Resilient – ability to re-engage young people using a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach.
- Compliance ready – possess or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance (within a 6-month period) and a WA Working with Children Check.
- Driver’s License – full and valid driver’s license required for the role.
