Description:
This is a key role focused on the assembly and repair of fixed plant equipment, ensuring high-quality standards are met in maintaining pumps, blowers, conveyors, and other critical equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Disassemble, clean, inspect, and measure pumps, mechanical seals, valves, and other equipment.
Assemble, measure, record, and test pumps, mechanical seals, valves, and other equipment.
Assemble new or overhauled equipment as per specifications.
Modify and/or machine components and equipment.
Assemble machined components, close-coupled pumps, gearboxes, and motors.
Perform rotating equipment alignment to nominated tolerances using dial indicators or laser equipment.
Adhere to safe work practices in all tasks.
About You:
Trade Qualified: Mechanical Fitter with a minimum of 2 years of post-trade experience.
Knowledgeable: Experience with fixed plant equipment, such as pumps, blowers, conveyors, and mechanical seals in a Mining capacity
Proficient: Skilled in using measuring tools and interpreting technical drawings.
Detail-Oriented: Strong focus on high-quality standards and precision.
Problem Solver: Ability to troubleshoot and work well in a team.
Licences: MUST hold a Current Australian Driver's Licence and Forklift Licence (LF) Rigger (RG)
Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a Drug & Alcohol screen.
Location: Must be willing to drive daily to and from Muchea.

Competitive Pay: $65 per hour + superannuation on all hours worked (weekly pay).
Roster: 5:2 or 4:3 roster (Mon-Thurs / Mon-Fri) with 6:00 AM starts.
