The Opportunity
Veolia is seeking a Mechanical Technician to be based full time in Karratha 6714. Within this role you will be responsible for operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment plants/assets at client sites throughout the Pilbara.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Operate and maintain treatment plants and equipment according to standard proceduresMonitor plant operations and assist in plant optimisationConduct water quality sampling and manage documentationPerform routine and reactive maintenance dutiesLiaise with and supervise contractors as requiredManage resources, tools, and equipment to maintain operationsEnsure a risk-based approach to operations and maintenanceGenerate client and internal reportsOccasional evening and weekend work, as well as regular travel within the Pilbara region, including overnight stays
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in water treatment operationsMechanical qualifications - trade or equivalentUnderstanding of mechanical equipment and safety/environmental issues
