Who are we looking for?
Working with our client Main Roads WA, we are seeking a Network Operations Officer based in Geraldton. This is a fixed term opportunity until June 2025 and the role is based residentially.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Review and provide advice on planning applications (traffic and safety), including traffic management plansUndertake the collection and management of road traffic dataProvide advice to project managers, other Main Roads staff and Local Government on traffic management and road safety mattersMaintain local traffic and road safety data and inventories
What you will bring to the team:
Experience in the development and review of traffic management plans and road safetyCurrent Advanced Worksite Traffic Management accreditation Strong skills in investigation, analysis and problem solving abilitiesCoordination of data management and computer systems

GHD has been appointed by Main Roads Western Australia to deliver a state-wide Operational Asset Management Support Service (AMSS) contract. Under this contract, GHD provides centralised and regional support to assist Main Roads manage and maintain the State Road network.
