Heavy Diesel Mechanic Fitters - Join the Westoz Field Service team!
About the role
Westoz Equipment Repairs Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter | HD Mechanic to join our team on a casual basis. This is a FIFO or DIDO role based in Various Locations in Western Australia including local South West Residential.
What you'll be doing

Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment and machinery used in the mining industry

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions

Carry out scheduled servicing, inspections, and overhauls to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment

Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance team to deliver efficient and high-quality service

Adhere to all safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment

Maintain accurate documentation and records of work performed
What we're looking for
-
Formal trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams

Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

Current driver's licence and ability to obtain the necessary site and mining tickets/licenses
-
Roster Experience with Earth-Moving equipment: CAT, Hitachi, Volvo, Sandvik, Komatsu. - Highly desirable Field service experience
