We are currently looking for Welder Fabricator to join our team at Grass valley, WA and be responsible for conducting welding & production tasks effectively and safely in accordance with Company policy. Job duties are (but not limited to):

• Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and set up requirements.
• Measures, marks and scribes dimensions and reference points on materials as guides for fabrication.
• Calculates and sets controls on welder for production.
• Fabricates and uses jigs for production of parts
• Verifies conformance of finished work piece to correct specifications.
• Cut and weld tube and angle for Pallet cages
• Assemble and weld sheetmetal cabinets

Skills and experience: 3-5 years’ experience in welding Ability to read and understand engineering and workshop drawings Positive “can do” attitude and ability to work well in a team and also independently Demonstrated commitment to quality and self-motivation Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines Hold relevant trades qualification is desirable Salary: From $73,150 per annum Work Type: Full Time
