About the Project
Kimberley Mineral Sands Pty Ltd (KMS) is a 50/50 joint venture between Sheffield Resources Limited and YGH Australia Investment Pty Ltd (Yansteel). The Thunderbird Mineral Sands Project (Thunderbird) is located mid-way between Derby and Broome, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
Thunderbird is one of the largest and highest-grade zircon mineral sands deposits in the world and contains valuable heavy minerals including ilmenite, zircon, leucoxene, and rutile, which are extracted and exported via the Port of Broome.

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Business Support Officer to join our team on a permanent basis, available for an immediate start!
Based in our Broome office, working Monday - Friday, this role will be responsible for providing administrative support across the organisation, as well ensuring all facilities are maintained, visitors are welcomed, and the office operates in an efficient and organised manner.
We are looking for someone with outstanding and proactive administration skills, as well as a positive attitude and a customer focus.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all outgoing and incoming mail, phone calls, and visitor coordination to ensure efficient communication and smooth office operations.

Ensure the office and facilities are properly maintained, including overseeing the management of relevant supplies.

Liaise with and manage contractors (gardeners, maintenance, cleaners, security, IT) to ensure all work is completed in line with KMS standards.

Coordinate all short-term visitors to the Broome office/site, including airport pickups and drop-offs, itinerary development, arranging site access, accommodation, and transport.

Assist with uniform/PPE ordering and distribution to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Handle ad hoc office administration tasks, such as managing fuel card processes, key distribution, stationery orders, and IT equipment management.

Organise company events and external meetings as required to support business functions and team collaboration.

Support document control processes and approvals, ensuring the proper handling, storage, and distribution of critical documents.
About You
-
Current WA-C Class driver's license
-
Cert III or Cert IV in Business Management

Minimum 2 years' experience in similar role

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Strong written and communication skills

Able to demonstrate a planned and organised approach to work with the ability and flexibility to effectively manage time and multiple tasks.
