Roster & hours
- 7:7 roster - days and nights
- Thursday/ Wednesday rosters patters
- Days - 6:30am - 6:30pm / Nights - 6:30pm - 6:30am
The role and duties
You will enjoy working in a team of specialist tradespeople working on a wide range of UG mining equipment in the workshop and the field. Your duties will include;-
- Perform maintenance and repairs on range of ground support heavy machinery
- Often diagnosing and fixing hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out emergency repairs where necessary
- Adhere to safety protocols and conduct risk assessments.
- Machinery - Sandvik Cablebolters, Normet Shotcreters, Volvo Loaders and light vehicles.
Your value
- Trade qualifications in automotive or heavy diesel
- Previous experience working on UG hard rock mining machinery
- High level of skill performing diagnostics on electrical and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work autonomously and attend to breakdowns
- Ability to obtain a current National Police Clearance & pass a pre-employment medical
