An Airport Pavement Design and Construction business with a professional standing in the industry enjoying growth is seeking a skillful and civil capable Site Project Engineer
This person must bring with them a unique approach, diligence, self-direction and above all an eagerness that is infectious and complements and reflects the business direction. A passion for developing knowledge and working alongside a site construction and design team, with the ability to respond to company structure and systems, combined with a thoroughness of knowledge across construction methodologies, best practice, quality and safety is an essential aspect of this position.
Knowledge working with an Integrated Management System is fundamental. This role is the integral link and technical support to the Project Management Team.
The Site Engineer will not fit the traditional characteristics; this person must be able to match the stamina to work at a fast pace in a dynamic environment.
Essential Competencies and Criteria :
· 5+ years Engineering Degree (Civil Preferred)
· Ability to work away from Home as needed
· Work odd hours which are required to complete the project
· Flexibility and have the ability to think outside the box to solve complex problems
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Verbal and written capability
· Applied protocol when interacting with senior management and clients
· Plan and prioritise workloads to meet changing deadlines
· Respond to IMS requirements
· Conversant with civil construction methodologies
· Numeric plan reading competency
