Are you ready to take centre field on one of the most dynamic and impactful roles in rugby league? Penrith District Rugby League Football Club is searching for an exceptional Game Day & Events Executive to lead the planning, management, and execution of all game day and major event experiences for the Panthers.

Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, Strategy & Policy, this role is critical to delivering unforgettable experiences for fans, partners, and players alike. You'll be the go-to person on game day, from managing entertainment and logistics to coordinating with governing bodies, venue operators and our broader football operations teams. As the Game Day and Events Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all operational aspects of the Game Day & Major Events:
  • Lead and execute Panthers game day and major events, including remote/regional games
  • Build run sheets, MC scripts, and manage sports presentation delivery
  • Oversee match day contractors, game day personnel, and access management
  • Collaborate with broadcast partners and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate season launch & presentation nights, and other internal events
  • Ensure budget compliance, invoice reconciliation, and operational reporting
  • Manage field hire, Academy bookings, and facilities support
  • Act as the primary player liaison for player appearance management

The successful candidate for this role will possess the following:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in event management, ideally in sport or live entertainment
  • Tertiary qualifications in event management or significant relevant work experience
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Availability to work weekends, public holidays, Panthers games days and outside standard hours during events.
