Your opportunity As Risk and Security Manager - Westfield Kotara, you’ll step into a key leadership role within our customer experience team, where your impact will be felt daily. You’ll lead the security and risk function for the centre, safeguarding the wellbeing of our employees, contractors, retailers, and customers. This isn’t just about operational oversight — it’s about creating a safe, welcoming environment where people feel confident and secure. You’ll be the go-to expert, working closely with stakeholders across the centre, driving proactive risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring we’re always a step ahead. Day-to-day you will be responsible for: Support proactive management, reporting and response to hazard identification, incidents, emergencies, near misses and claims across the Centre and region.Support service delivery agreements/contracts to ensure performance feedback is provided to contract managers for input into performance reviews and any remedial actions for contract staff.Provide day-to-day coaching to contracted staff in line with WHS legislation and obligations.Adherence to safety audit and inspection program requirements within Centre and support compliance within the RegionFostering constructive working relationships with internal and external partners including customers, retailers and contractors, Senior Police, Workplace Regulators, Emergency Services and other stakeholders.As a part of our asset team, you will also have Duty Management responsibilities from time to time too, where you will be required to work a weekend shift (on a roster), which will be balanced with a day off in lieu. This is a Full-Time permanent opportunity based at Westfield Kotara. What sets you apart You will have a strong background in security, exposure to risk management strategies, and a passion for retail property! Technically, you will also have the following skills and experience: Qualification or related experience in Work Health and SafetyA strong background in risk and/or security management in retail property, hospitality, entertainment, leisure or services organisations.Demonstrated experience delivering training programs.Basic technology skills including Word, Excel & PowerPointWorking knowledge of CCTV and Access Control systems
