Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physiotherapist to be part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team delivering specialised services within BRHS Pain Management Clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a valuable service making a difference to our community.

The Position:

In this role you will provide a specialist Physiotherapy services for Chronic Pain Clinic clients including one on one client assessments, and psychologically-informed, individualised and group education regarding evidence-based self-management – including exercise, thought management informed by neuroscience education and CBT principles, mindfulness, pacing and goalsetting - for clients living with the complexities of persistent pain. In addition, you will work closely with the Pain Management team to ensure the delivery of quality, cost effective and efficient services that meet the needs of our clients.

What you need:

  • 1-3 years' clinical experience within a healthcare setting
  • Undergraduate Physiotherapy degree with current AHPRA registration as Physiotherapist
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice in relation to the management of patients with persistent pain
  • An ability to comprehensively and independently assess and treat patients with persistent pain
