About Us:
Ministerial Services, Policy Reform and Programs (MSPRP) will comprise several business units, including: Ministerial Services and Coordination, Policy Reform and Programs and Redress Design. These business units are responsible for providing critical departmental and Ministerial coordination support and delivering essential family violence programs and crime prevention grants. MSPRP is also responsible for delivery of priority justice policy reforms in line with departmental and Ministerial priorities. It also leads on crime prevention, family violence and the public intoxication reforms. MSPRP teams work in a dynamic environment, requiring agile policy teams to respond to key priorities as they arise.
About the Role:
The Administration and Information Officer (AIO) role works within the office of the Attorney General, however is part of the Ministerial Services team.
As an AIO, you will provide high-level administration and reception support in the Ministers' Office (MO). The AIO role includes, but is not limited to, responding to calls from the public and escalating their concerns and enquiries when necessary, assisting the MO to handle correspondence efficiently and appropriately, providing administrative support to the Senior Department Liaison Officers (DLO) and Assistant (DLA) and the MO, where appropriate, and other duties as required.
Some of your duties will include:
* Providing high-level customer service, including answering phones, screening/directing calls and taking messages, managing entry/exit of visitors, maintaining the physical environment of reception/waiting area, and the appropriate handling of inquiries in accordance with relevant protocols, which will be provided on commencement of employment.
* Providing high level professional administrative organisation and support, requiring the use of a range of Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Pro, Oracle and the DJCS Electronic Briefing and Correspondence (EBC) System, and general office duties as directed, including filing, monitoring office needs, and ordering stationery/equipment as required.
* Providing oversight and management of the Minister's email inbox, including accurate registration and processing of incoming and outgoing correspondence, including preparing acknowledgements to correspondence.

About You:
As an ideal candidate, you will possess:
* A working knowledge of government processes would be highly regarded.
* Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Pro.
* A working knowledge of the EBC System, Oracle and TRIM would be highly regarded.
Qualifications:
* Relevant experience in a government environment is desirable.
