REDHS is offering a short-term career/development opportunity for an experienced Allied Health Professional or Registered Nurse who is seeking senior leadership experience.
Full time engagement is preferred, although part time and/or other flexible arrangements could be considered. Secondments may also be considered.
At REDHS our Community Care team provide a range of services locally and to our surrounding townships including:
-
Allied Health – Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Social Work, Exercise Physiology, and Allied Health Assistance

Group Exercise programs – cardiac rehab, fitness for older persons, strength & balance
-
Home Care – Personal Care, Domestic assistance, Shopping assistance, Home Maintenance and Carer Respite

Social Support Group
Successful applicants will have:
-
Provide strategic and operational leadership within the Community Care Division
-
Monitor, analyse and report on program performance, direction and future opportunities
-
Manage budgets and contracts to ensure services are delivered within agreed financial budget across a variety of funding streams.
Highly developed interpersonal skills and the proven ability to lead a multidisciplinary team, including supervising staff, ensuring accountability and working collaboratively are core attributes necessary to carry out the role successfully.
Strategic and operational knowledge of the legislative compliance and performance measures that are required to comply with funding, contract and accreditation obligations is highly desirable

Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is situated in Rochester which is the gateway to the mighty Murray River region and close to the regional centres of Echuca, Bendigo and Shepparton.
We are an integrated rural health service, providing a broad range of acute, residential aged care, preventative and primary health programs to a population of approximately 8,600 people in the Campaspe and Bendigo Shires.
We enjoy a strong relationship with our community and we are focused on delivering services that meet their needs.
Following the flood in October 2022, we commenced an extensive rebuild of our facility which was completed in January 2025.
