- Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH)
Provide leadership and expert guidance to build leadership capability and support teams in achieving high performance for this NSW State Government Department.
About the role:
- Drive the development and implementation of People and Development initiatives aligned with this NSW State Government department’s goals.
- Provide coaching, advice, and training to support effective delivery of people-related programs and ensure policy compliance.
- Monitor and report on program effectiveness, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Apply sound judgment to develop practical solutions addressing people management challenges and talent gaps.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to support the delivery of People and Development outcomes.
- Collaborate across the Directorate to ensure volunteers and staff receive high-quality support and guidance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, policies, and best practices to enhance member and leadership experiences.
About you:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources and/or extensive HR experience in a complex operational environment.
- Experience as a volunteer in a not for profit or government agency highly desirable but not essential
- Experience in managing complexities of volunteer leadership and management highly desirable but not essential
