A vacancy exists for a part time Administration Assistant in Cooktown.
About the role:
The successful candidate will provide seamless administration support for My Pathway operations ensuring compliance with My Pathway operating policies and procedures.
Maintain a high-level service and support to managers, workers, stakeholders and meeting all legislative and contractual requirements.
What you’ll need to be considered:
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), consultation, negotiation and networking skills.
- Excellent understanding and experience in Australian Indigenous protocols, practices and affairs with a focus on remote indigenous communities.
- Exceptional leadership and coaching skills.
- Strong understanding of the Job Services Australia, Community Development and Employment Projects, and other labour market programmes, and remote services.
- Highly developed problem solving, research, conceptual, analytical skills with the ability to develop practical and forward-thinking operational plans and solutions.
- Demonstrated organisational and time coordination skills, self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook, a clear focus on high quality and efficient marketing activity.
- A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance.
- Ability to interpret and communicate contractual and legislative needs to diverse audiences.
Desired:
- Technology literate including sound skills in using Windows based software, Internet, Email.
- Significant understanding of the complexity and nuances of working with government departments.
- Skills and/or qualifications in Business Administration.
