The Opportunity
As warehouse assistant at PWR you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of incoming goods, the collection of materials, and the effective management of the site’s consumables store and warehouse at PWR’s brand new manufacturing facility.
The main focus of this position is to support operational continuity by ensuring critical materials and consumables are readily available and delivered in an orderly and timely manner to our key internal stakeholders.
The position requires good attention to detail, physical fitness, effective teamwork, basic computer literacy, impeccable organisation skills, cleanliness, strong time management and reliability.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage

Unload, sort, and document incoming stock using the warehouse management system

Coordinate with procurement to resolve discrepancies in orders

Ensure items are correctly labelled and stored in the designated areas or delivered to key stakeholders

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the receiving area and store
-
Drive to supplier locations to collect goods as required (company vehicle provided)

Verify items collected against purchase orders and packing slips
-
Communicate with purchasing and production teams regarding urgent pick-ups

Achieving all KPI targets

Issue consumables to staff and maintain accurate usage records in warehouse management software

Maintaining stock control, keeping inventory records up to date and assisting with regular stocktakes

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
Your Skills and Experience:
-
Warehouse Management System experience
-
A forklift license or experience (Preferred)
-
Proven experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to our internal stakeholders

Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations
