Role Overview:

Deliver indirect care assistance aligned with clients’ NDIS and Behaviour Support Plans.

Adhere to safety, privacy, and confidentiality protocols.
-
Engage in 1:1 or small group training tailored to client needs.
-
Conduct assessments to understand challenging behaviours and support needs.
-
Develop and implement effective behavioural strategies and plans.
-
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and guidelines.
-
Analyse effectiveness, review behaviours, and adjust plans as necessary.
-
Facilitate stakeholder communication, including report writing and meeting participation.
Additional Responsibilities for Psychologists:

Conduct comprehensive assessments.
-
Support participants in daily life management and emotional regulation.
-
Provide psychotherapy and other interventions.
-
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to advocate for participant needs.

Develop resources for intervention methods.
-
Prepare detailed reports for NDIS reviews and other purposes.
Requirements:
-
If pursuing a 4+2 or 5+1 pathway as a psychologist, current AHPRA registration as a provisional or registered psychologist, or eligibility for registration.

Reliability, passion, and strong teamwork skills.

Proficiency in basic software applications.

A team player.

Love to have fun.
Desirable (but not essential):

Experience in Behaviour Support Plans, Functional Behaviour Assessments, and NDIS report writing.

Background in implementing Behaviour Support Plans and working within the NDIS framework.

Experience in the NDIS Sector, with an understanding of NDIS plans
