ABOUT THE ROLE
The Compliance Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance across QA and environmental aspects while supporting the Compliance Manager in strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting internal audits and assisting with external audit preparation.
- Managing approved suppliers
- Managing customer complaints
- Ensuring corrective actions are tracked, completed, and verified.
- Reviewing and updating compliance documentation, including SOPs and policies.
- Supporting training initiatives related to compliance and QA procedures.
- Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of environmental management systems (EMS).
- Supporting waste management and sustainability initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Conducting environmental risk assessments and assisting in improvement projects.
- Help develop and maintain Environmental Management systems to comply with current and future legislative requirements.
- Monitor compliance to Environmental Management System requirements.
- Prepare and maintain necessary reports and records.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL
You will bring with you:
- 3+ years Previous experience in environment management, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
- Degree qualified in Environmental Management, or a related field would be advantageous
- Wastewater management experience
- Good understanding of environmental licenses and development authority conditions
- A working understanding of current environmental legislation
- Previous compliance auditing experience
