Your new role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Diesel/Plant Mechanic to join this well-respected company. Reporting directly to the site supervisor, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing large earthmoving and mining equipment, including industry-leading CAT and Volvo machinery up to 120T. Your day-to-day work hours will be from 6 AM to 4 PM, with the option to take on weekend shifts.
As part of this role, you'll be equipped with a company-provided ute, a fuel card, and all the necessary tools to excel in your responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Diesel/Plant Mechanic.
- Strong technical knowledge of CAT and Volvo machinery.
- Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A proactive, solution-driven approach to challenges.
- Flexibility and a strong work ethic.
