ABOUT THE JOB:
As a member of the Edunet Sales team, the role is responsible for strengthening the relationships with existing schools and driving growth opportunities with new schools. This will involve selling our IT Solutions for Education both over the phone, via video and face to face both onsite at schools and at various events throughout the year. The role will identify new opportunities and increase Edunet’s share of wallet with existing customers to achieve sales targets and KPI’s.
Working in the technology industry, you will need to demonstrate a strong commitment to professional development, to ensure you are always building your knowledge and expertise for our Education customers.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales position, with experience using phone, video and in-person

Demonstrated experience in generating own leads and achieving targets

Experience building a successful pipeline of sales opportunities

Valid Working with Children Check and Drivers License

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SALES
-
Meet company KPIs and targets set annually.

Target new business opportunities and increase Edunet’s share of wallet with existing customers.

Display a strict “Customer First” approach when proposing products/solutions which must suit the clients long term IT strategy.

Display ownership and pride to the success of assigned clients.
CRM & PIPELINE MANAGEMENT
-
Maintaining the accuracy of contacts and clients/vendors in our CRM, to grow the business and generate better market intelligence.

Keep consistent and coherent internal and external notes for each client/opportunity.

Keeping a tidy and accurate pipeline and sales funnel with opportunities and quotations.

Keep backorder report and invoicing up to date to ensure invoices are being sent when hardware is delivered.
COMMUNICATION WITH CLIENTS

Explain product and services information in a manner the end user can relate to, using visual content or storytelling where appropriate, to explain the solution and any processes.

Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining contact throughout the entire purchasing process.

Check in with clients on an ongoing basis to ensure we’re meeting their expectations, providing the highest level of support and care and identifying new opportunities.
IDENTIFYING BETTER WAYS TO WORK

Share feedback/ discoveries/ opportunities/ weaknesses that you find while performing your tasks.

Show a high level of understanding of how other departments of the business.

Collaborate well with these departments to ensure the overall business success.
CONFERENCES & EVENTS

Assist in planning of conferences.

Attend, set up and run conferences on your own and be responsible for upholding Edunet’s reputation at conferences.

Confidently and clearly present and explain our BYOD Ecosystem to parents at school’s information nights.

Be confident in public speaking to medium/large crowds.
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
