TIMBER YARD OPERATOR/TRUCK DRIVER – Mildura

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated all-rounder Truck Driver / Timber Yard Operator to join our Mallee Timber & Hardware store in Mildura .

About the Role
This is a hands-on, dual position that splits time between yard operations and delivery driving . You’ll be helping keep our timber yard running smoothly, while also getting out on the road delivering to builders, tradies, and residential customers across the region.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

Forklift operation – loading/unloading timber and hardware

Picking and packing customer orders
-
Delivering materials safely and efficiently (local/regional runs)

Helping customers in the yard and maintaining a clean, organised space

General yard duties and stock control
-
Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
Who We’re Looking For
We want someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to get stuck in.
You’ll need:

A valid HR Truck Licence
-
A valid Forklift Licence
-
Experience with HIAB crane operation
-
Solid understanding of load restraint , weight distribution , and safe handling procedures

A strong customer service mindset and good communication skills
-
High attention to detail and a hands-on attitude
-
Willingness to undergo pre-employment and ongoing drug & alcohol testing
