We’re currently seeking a motivated and reliable Sawyer to join our Truss & Frame Manufacturing Team . If you have an eye for detail, enjoy working with your hands, and thrive in a team-focused environment – we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and cutting timber to specification, ready for truss and frame assembly:

Read and interpret job plans, cutting lists and truss/frame layouts

Accurately cut timber using docking saws, drop saws, and automated cutting systems

Ensure all components are cut to correct dimensions and within tolerances

Label and stack timber accurately for the assembly team

Maintain saws and equipment in safe working condition

Work closely with other team members to meet daily production targets

Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a clean, safe work environment
Who We’re Looking For
You’re someone who’s positive, detail-oriented, and ready to get stuck in. A strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a commitment to safety are key.
We’d love to see:

Previous experience in timber, truss or frame

Confidence using hand and power tools, especially saws

Ability to read and follow measurements and technical drawings

Good physical fitness and the ability to handle manual tasks

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A proactive, can-do attitude and commitment to workplace safety
