EO Services provide a strategic capability to the Australian Defence Force (ADF) it’s visiting allies and Defence industry. We are proudly enabling the ADF to TRAIN – FIGHT – WIN.
As a turnkey solution, we store, distribute and maintain over 98% of the Commonwealth’s total ordnance holdings at 17 sites nationwide and offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for growth and career success.
Across Australia, EOS is organized into eight regions. Each region comprises a Tier 1 depot and up to three Tier 2 depots. These regions are overseen by a Regional Manager, and the entire operation involves a team of over 285 staff members deployed across 17 sites throughout Australia.
Located in Mangalore, on Taungurung land, your role will be to deliver excellent customer service and provide storage and logistics services to the Department of Defence, specifically in our South Region (Myambat and the Hunter Valley Region), while ensuring safety and compliance.
Responsibilities include:
Manage EO Services operations per the Contract Statement of Work and Performance Management FrameworkImplement and oversee the Safety Management System to ensure optimal safetyManage the receipt, storage, maintenance, and distribution of EOConduct stocktake activities and coordinate transport movementsFoster a proactive and efficient teamMonitor and achieve key performance indicators and contract outputsChampion continuous improvement initiatives across the region
How About You?
Ideally, you possess qualifications in logistics or a related field and have recently demonstrated experience in a complex logistics management role on regional or national scalePrevious experience in the defence EO supply chain would be advantageousYou have a proven track record of managing teams and implementing continuous improvement initiativesYour exceptional communication skills and strong organizational abilities set you apartYour ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders and frontline staff, is a valuable assetIt is necessary to meet the eligibility criteria for obtaining Australian Defence Clearances
