We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electronic systems, installation, and maintenance, with experience in solar energy systems being an advantage.
Responsibilities include:
- Installing, testing, and maintaining electronic components in solar energy systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in solar inverters, control systems, and other electronic equipment.
- Conducting routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Reading and interpreting technical schematics and specifications for equipment setup.
- Modifying and upgrading electronic systems to enhance efficiency and meet performance requirements.
- Working closely with engineers and technicians to integrate electronic components into broader system frameworks.
- Ensuring all installations and repairs comply with safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate records of services, installations, and repairs for reporting purposes.
- A Certificate III or IV in Electronics and Communications or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with electronic systems, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in electronic equipment.
- Ability to interpret and apply technical documentation and electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and electrical regulations.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team.
Salary:
This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $70,000 - $95,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
