Position description

We seek enthusiastic Pathology Collectors to join our vibrant Patient Services Team. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Collecting blood and non-blood samples and conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring
  • Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled and archived.
  • Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures
  • Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High level attention to detail and record keeping skills.

Prior to commencement, all candidates must provide documentary evidence of the following:

  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Commitment to annual influenza vaccination.

A National Police Check, Working with Children clearance and First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) will be required prior to commencement.

Please note, our program requires a non-negotiable minimum 25 hour per week commitment.
