We are looking for a qualified hands on chef who is passionate, ready to lead a great team and cook some fun and exciting food.
The venue currently cooks a menu that is positioned slightly above your normal pub fare. This style of menu gives you enough flexibility to be creative with dishes driving your passionate side, while the work horses continue to do their job.
As a chef and a valuable member of the team you will assist in driving the business forward. You will have a focus on innovative specials and leading a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. Tasked to deliver consistency, and with support to succeed in variable cost management. This is a great venue to work in!
The role:

Cooking great food in an established hotel bistro

Being part of the kitchen team ensuring quality product, consistency and great service

Ordering and stock control

Managing food costs and labour targets

Following all food safety procedures
