Power Bi Analyst

We are exclusively partnering with a leading private equity-backed business to recruit a Power BI Analyst into a newly created role within their finance team. This is a rare opportunity to own and drive reporting transformation within a high-growth, operationally complex business.
The Opportunity
Reporting to a future Financial Controller and working closely with the CFO, this role will be instrumental in developing and refining the company’s financial and operational reporting through Power BI. The business currently operates with a legacy ERP (Baseplan), which presents limitations in functional reporting, and there is a significant backlog of reporting needs across the business.
Over the first 12–18 months, your focus will be on:

• Building and refining Power BI dashboards for cross-functional reporting needs
• Cleaning, structuring, and integrating financial and operational data for business use
• Partnering with teams across finance, operations, and commercial to provide accessible insights

Longer-term, the role will evolve into a broader Finance Business Analyst / Systems Accountant remit, providing commercial support and systems optimisation across the organisation.
About You You’ll ideally bring:

• Experience with Power BI report and dashboard development
• A background in finance, accounting, or data analytics, with strong attention to detail
• An appetite for growth, learning, and contributing to systems transformation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across departments
• Interest in developing into a broader commercial finance or systems-focused role
