An exciting opportunity exists for an Advanced Clinical Assistant, to be part of a highly functioning multidisciplinary team and contribute to total patient management by providing advanced clinical support tasks delegated under the direct or indirect supervision of an Allied Health Professional (AHP). Contribute to the efficient operation of the Women's and Children's Allied Health services by undertaking other non-treatment activities as required.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide a defined range of specialised clinical screening assessments for patients with complex needs, as delegated and allowed by testing guidelines and legislation.
  • Provide a defined range of treatments for patients with complex conditions, including using decision support tools, clinical pathways, and patient guidelines.
  • Identify potential changes needed in treatment programs using results from standardised assessment tools and gain endorsement to make these changes following discussion with the supervising Allied Health Professional.

Remuneration value up to $63 538 p.a., comprising salary rates $38.36 - $41.02 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (CA4) (part time position, 64 hrs p.f.).
