About us:The Child and Family Health Service offers multidisciplinary primary community health care for infants, children, and their families residing in the Emerald, Blackwater, Capella, Springsure, and Gemfields areas.
The service aims to ensure children have the best possible start in life by focusing on child health and developmental surveillance, health promotion, early identification of family needs, and addressing risks. Services are delivered through various methods, including phone consultations, face-to-face individual sessions, and group activities. Utilising the Family Partnership Model, the service collaborates with families to prioritise their needs, capabilities, and build supportive relationships.
About the role:
The purpose of this role is to provide advanced clinical leadership and clinical expertise relevant to the speciality of Child Health and Youth Health nursing. The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) for Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service works in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse Educator and wider Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service CQHHS program team to support the clinical unit in provision of safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for the specialty of Child, Youth and Family Health Services.
About you:
Bachelor of Nursing QualificationCurrent registration with the Nursing and Midwifery board of Australia. Relevant Post Graduate qualification
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $137,851 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $66.85 - $72.58 p.h. 12.75% employer superannuation contribution17.5% leave loading
