About Ludo
Ludo (from the Latin for “I play”) is a unique early learning service delivered in partnership with Catholic Education Tasmania. Rooted in play-based learning, Ludo provides a warm and engaging environment where children explore, grow, and thrive within a school-based setting.
About the Role
As a Diploma-Qualified Educator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day planning and delivery of high-quality early learning experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate programs aligned with the National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Creating a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop
- Supporting children’s wellbeing and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Collaborating with families, colleagues, and the broader school community to enhance learning outcomes
- Upholding the values and mission of CatholicCare Tasmania, in line with the Archbishop’s Charter for CatholicCare
About You
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator who is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent/higher)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- An understanding of play-based learning and child development
- Knowledge of NQF, EYLF, and relevant early childhood frameworks
- A passion for creating inclusive, engaging, and nurturing learning environments
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and colleagues
- A commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice
