Are you an experienced construction professional with a passion for quality and teamwork? TCB Affordable Homes is looking for a Leading Hand to join our team and lead the assembly of our factory-built modular homes. If you have a strong background in construction, leadership, and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the affordable housing sector, we want to hear from you!

About the Role : As the Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a team including apprentices and ensuring the smooth and efficient construction of modular homes within our factory. You’ll be responsible for managing workflows, maintaining high standards of quality, and ensuring that safety protocols are followed at all times. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth of affordable housing solutions and lead a talented team in delivering top-notch homes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead, supervise, and motivate a team in a fast-paced factory environment.

· Oversee the assembly and construction of modular homes, ensuring they meet quality standards.

· Coordinate workflows and ensure timely delivery of projects.

· Monitor and enforce adherence to safety standards and company policies.

· Provide guidance and training to team members, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed.

· Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency.

· Maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Key Requirements:

· Previous experience in the construction industry, minimum 3 years trade experience.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

· High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure.

· Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in a construction environment.

· A proactive attitude and a hands-on approach to leadership.
