Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or previous experience in a similar role.
- Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
- Can do attitude!
Desirable:
- Experience with recruitment in aged care.
- Experience in the PALM scheme, DAMA, and ACILA.
- Knowledge of visa processes and international candidate management.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with staff at all levels and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to create effective recruitment advertisements and related materials.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple and conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach, with strong initiative, drive, and outcome orientation.
- Sensitivity and understanding of the diverse needs within the organization and the recruitment process.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Onboarding Process: Work closely with Key Stakeholders to ensure comprehensive onboarding program, that includes orientation to workplace culture, policies and procedures is conducted for each new International Team Member
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with Residential Aged Care, Home Care and Retirement Villages, local real estate agencies and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth integration process
- Cultural Orientation: provide cultural training and resources to help international employees adapt to Australian society and work environments
- Local Resources and Services: Compile and disseminate information on local amenities, healthcare services and community resources to assist international employees
- Ongoing Support: Establish a support system for international employees to address any issues or challenges they may encounter during their transition
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that all accommodation and onboarding activities comply with relevant policies and prepare reports for management review
