About the Role

Workskil Australia is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Systems and Process Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working closely with project managers, teams, and subject matter experts to ensure seamless system enhancements and process optimisation.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to document workflows, support solution development, and contribute to the overall efficiency and performance of the business. Your expertise will help drive improvements in user experience, system functionality, and compliance, supporting successful project outcomes.

This role is being offered on a full time, ongoing basis and will be based either at our Head Office in Melrose Park or at our National Administration Centre located in the Adelaide CBD.

You’ll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9-day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary sacrifice. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers, teams, and business subject matter experts to identify business requirements and translate them into actionable system enhancements.
  • Act as a liaison between business needs and IT solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Document current and future state workflows and business processes to inform system design.
  • Develop clear business requirements to define project scope and inform solution development.
  • Conduct design sessions to ensure a shared understanding of the project solution.
  • Document system specifications and facilitate approval processes prior to development.
  • Assist with creating test cases and scenarios to ensure systems meet business requirements.
  • Support system testing to verify functionality and usability before deployment.
  • Manage the rollout of system solutions and enhancements to ensure successful adoption.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the Compliance Matrix to track obligations imposed by funding contracts.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation to improve business performance and enhance user experience.
  • Provide project support, including task coordination, progress tracking, risk management, and ensuring successful project delivery.

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong academic background in IT, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in business analysis, business improvement, or project management
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • A willingness to understand complex government contracts and compliance requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with system documentation and testing processes

Remuneration

A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
