The Opportunity
KBR is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Manager to contribute to the growth and success of our Australia Defence and Security Solutions (ADSS) business.
As the successful candidate you would be responsible for supporting comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with KBR's goals, and leading the development, negotiation, review and management of contracts to effectively mitigate risks and maximise opportunities.
This position will require an active AGSVA security clearance on commencement.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the business

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs and ensure customer satisfaction

Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-effective measures

Collaborate with finance teams to create estimates and financial models

Provide effective commercial direction and guidance to programs and the commercial team, fostering a high-performance work culture

Assess and mitigate commercial risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge
-
Bachelor's degree in business, law or finance or equivalent Defence-relevant experience

Prior experience working in Defence commercial management (Industry and/or Government), with working knowledge of the ASDEFCON suite

Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence

Exceptional networking and communication skills, and financial and commercial acumen

You must hold or be able to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance
