About the Role

We are now recruiting a casual Cellar Door Host at Petaluma to deliver exceptional wine experiences to our visitors, showcasing some of the best-known wines in our portfolio.

This role is perfect for a candidate that is passionate about wine and looking for flexibility around other commitments. This role is a casual position offering 2-3 shifts per week.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience to cellar door customers, acting as tour guide, experience host and tasting guide

• Operate the cash register, including daily opening, closing and balancing duties

• Promote wine club membership to visitors and sign up new members

• Undertake daily housekeeping duties to maintain the cellar door appearance

• Pick, pack and dispatch wine orders for customers

What You'll Bring

• A genuine understanding and passion for wine, and the ability to communicate our unique brand history to customers

• Exceptional customer service skills, providing our customers with the best experience possible

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with experience in a cellar door or hospitality industry (highly desired)

• Strong knowledge of Australian wine varietals (highly desired)

• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft suite and EDM software

• Responsible Service of Alcohol training (RSA)
