As the leading Public Transport operator in the NT, CDC Northern Territory has an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Administrator to join the Human Resources team. This role can be based in either Darwin or Brisbane.

About the role

The People & Culture Coordinator reports to the People & Culture Business Partner and provides essential support across HR functions (with a focus on recruitment). This role is ideal for a professional with 2 – 3 years of HR generalist experience who enjoys working in a fast paced and collaborative environment.

What you’ll focus on:

  • Support the full life cycle of people processes including but not limited to recruitment (specifically mechanic and bus driver recruitment), on-boarding, offboarding, performance management and employee engagement.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR databases ensuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality.
  • Respond to employee enquiries regarding HR processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to implement HR initiatives and support business goals
  • HR administration tasks; and
  • Any other duties as reasonably directed

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role (high volume recruitment advantageous)
  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources or related field (preferred but not essential)
  • Highly organised, self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Able to build and maintain strong rapports across various departments
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Suite of products
  • HRIS experience advantageous
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
  • Well developed communication skills, both written and verbal
