As the leading Public Transport operator in the NT, CDC Northern Territory has an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Administrator to join the Human Resources team. This role can be based in either Darwin or Brisbane.
About the role
The People & Culture Coordinator reports to the People & Culture Business Partner and provides essential support across HR functions (with a focus on recruitment). This role is ideal for a professional with 2 – 3 years of HR generalist experience who enjoys working in a fast paced and collaborative environment.
What you’ll focus on:
- Support the full life cycle of people processes including but not limited to recruitment (specifically mechanic and bus driver recruitment), on-boarding, offboarding, performance management and employee engagement.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR databases ensuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality.
- Respond to employee enquiries regarding HR processes
- Collaborate with other departments to implement HR initiatives and support business goals
- HR administration tasks; and
- Any other duties as reasonably directed
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role (high volume recruitment advantageous)
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources or related field (preferred but not essential)
- Highly organised, self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to build and maintain strong rapports across various departments
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Suite of products
- HRIS experience advantageous
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
- Well developed communication skills, both written and verbal
